A quick guide to everything you can do on TrybeOS, built for students of LASU.

Getting started

TrybeOS runs entirely inside Telegram — there is nothing to download and no phone-number sign-up forms.

Open @TrybeOSBot in Telegram and press START.
Tap Open TrybeOS (or the menu button) to launch the app.
Set up your profile: name, faculty, department and level.
Verify you are a student to unlock the full experience (see Verification).

Marketplace Buy · Sell · Rent

The marketplace lets verified students buy, sell, rent and offer services — from textbooks and gadgets to tutoring and gigs.

List an item: add photos, a price, a category and a short description. Your listing is visible to everyone on campus.
Interested? Express interest and contact the seller through the app.
Transactions: complete deals safely, share contact details only when you are comfortable, and leave reviews afterwards.
Your listings: manage, mark sold or close any listing you created from the My listings tab.

Tip: always meet in public, on campus, and inspect the item before you pay.

Events & announcements Campus

Stay on top of everything happening on campus, straight from the feed.

Events: browse upcoming campus events, view details and RSVP so you never miss out.
Announcements: official notices from verified organisers and administrators appear in the feed.

Anonymous messages Whispers

Say it without your name. Post a message and it appears in the anonymous feed without your identity shown publicly.

Your name is never displayed next to an anonymous message.
Reports are handled by administrators — messages that break the rules are removed and repeat offenders lose anonymous posting.

Match Connections

Match connects you with verified students for study groups, campus friendships and more.

Swipe through candidate cards and match with people who swipe back.
Start conversations from the chats tab once you match.
Direct messages and connection requests work entirely inside the app.

Verification

Verification shows you are a real student. It unlocks verified features and lets you post listings, events and announcements.

Email verification: confirm your campus email address with a one-time code.
Student ID upload: upload a photo of your student ID — administrators review and approve it.

Note: email verification is coming soon. For now, verify via student ID upload from the Profile tab. Either verification lets you post announcements.

Safety & rules

No scams. Never send money to someone you haven't met in person, and report anything suspicious.
No harassment or hate — respect other students.
No spam or off-topic posts.
Report any listing, event, message or user you believe breaks the rules — moderators review every report.
Repeat or serious violations lead to account suspension or a ban.
