Everything you need to know before you start.

Yes. TrybeOS is free to use for all users. There are no hidden charges.
No. TrybeOS runs inside Telegram. Just open @TrybeOSBot and tap Open TrybeOS. Nothing to install.
Right now, yes. TrybeOS is built and live for LASU students. Other campuses will be supported in the future.
No. You can browse the marketplace, view events, and post in the Anonymous Booth right away. Posting listings, events and announcements does require basic profile details like your level, faculty and department, but not a full profile. Completing your full profile (adding a bio and photo) is only needed to join the Match pool and connect with other students.
Verification proves you're a real student. Upload your student ID in the profile tab — an admin reviews and approves it, and your ID is never shown to other users or the public. That earns you a green verified checkmark, the badge that matters. You can also confirm your campus email with a code later to become a LASUite. Verification is optional but required to post announcements.
Yes. Posts in the Anonymous Booth are published under an alias of your choice. Your real name and profile are never shown to other users in the booth.
It is completely optional. Adding your course codes only helps the Match feature match you better. Students offering the same courses are shown to each first before students with less similarity.
No. TrybeOS does not process any payments. When you agree on a deal, you and the other student arrange payment and handover directly. Always meet in a safe, public location on campus and inspect the item before paying.
TrybeOS only collects what is needed to run the platform. Your phone number is handled by Telegram, not stored by us. You can read our full privacy policy for details.

"Before TrybeOS, event news only spread through group chats and you always missed it. Now I RSVP to parties and dept talks right from the events tab, and the announcements are right there too."

"I got a mattress from a 400-level student who was graduating and listed it for cheap. The reviews and verified check made me feel safe about it, way better than random WhatsApp groups."

"I came in as a 100-level and knew nobody. Within my first week I matched with two coursemates for study sessions. This is how I found my people on campus."
